The All-Ontario Championships are a provincial Championship for the PeeWee AAA and Bantam AAA divisions which includes teams from all three Hockey Canada Branches within the Province of Ontario. These Branches are Hockey Eastern (HEO), Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO) and the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF).

The Jim Kelly Trophy was first presented in 1968. Jim Kelly was well-known throughout Northern Ontario for his involvement in sports. He was a former player, sponsor, executive, and Official of the NOHA. Jim Kelly was awarded a life membership in the NOHA in 1988m and served as Secretary-Manager of the NOHA from 1978 to 1988. He was also a life member of the Northland Softball Association and was a founding member and inductee of the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame. Jim Kelly also served as Deputy Mayor and City Councilor on North Bay City Council.

The John Grignon Trophy was donated by the Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Association in 1991 to the winner of the Minor Bantam “AA” series. John’s activities in hockey go back to the Garson Native Sons Junior Team. Over the years, John has served his sport well at all levels. John Grignon assumed the position of President of the NOHA in the 1998-1999 season.

The Red Maltby Memorial Trophy was donated by Copper Cliff Minor Hockey in 1991 to the winner of the Minor Peewee “AA” series. Red Maltby served on the Copper Cliff Minor Hockey Executive and was President of the NOHA from 1958-1960. He also served as a scout for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Atom AA
The Lorne Chabot Trophy was presented by Don Chabot in 1985 on behalf of his father to the winner of the Atom AA series. Lorne Chabot was born in Thunder Bay. He played on two Allan Cup teams. He played goal for the New York Rangers in 1927 (first year in the NHL). Lorne was also the goalie for the longest overtime game in history, March 24, 1936, a record that still stands today.
